Glen Aduana, MD

Dr. Aduana joined the staff of Chicago Family Health Center in June 2009 after completing his residency in Family Medicine at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. While at Chestnut Hill, Dr. Aduana received extensive training in outpatient and urgent care. Dr. Aduana also served as the Chair of the Residency Evidence Based Medicine Committee and supervised family medicine interns as well as third and fourth year medical students. Dr. Aduana received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his MD from the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine.

Ramon Cabe, MD
Dr. Ramon Cabe has worked for Chicago Family Health Center as a pediatrician since March 1999. Prior to that, he spent time at both Suburban Heights Medical Center in Chicago Heights, and OSF Eastland Medical Primary Care in Bloomington, IL. He is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, where he received his medical degree in 1988.

Lokesh Chandra, MD, FACC (C)
Dr. Chandra joins Chicago Family Health Center as a part-time Cardiologist, the first CFHC specialty care service beginning in October 2009. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology with a private practice office located in the East Side community within the CFHC service area and 33 years of medical practice experience. Because Dr. Chandra has a strong commitment to medically underserved areas in Cook and Suburban Cook County, IL, he works as a Hospitalist at several local hospitals including Ingalls Memorial Hospital, South Suburban Hospital, and Advocate Trinity. Most recently, began part-time work at Family Christian Health Center in Harvey, IL to provide diagnostic testing and recommendations for treatment for heart conditions. Dr. Chandra will perform diagnostic testing and recommend treatment for heart conditions for patients at CFHC South Chicago 4 hours weekly.

Lisa Daniel, MD
Dr. Lisa Daniel has been a member of the Chicago Family Health Center OB/GYNE team since 2006. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, receiving her medical degree in 1999, and completing her residency in 2004. Prior to joining Chicago Family, Dr. Daniel worked as a physician for Women’s Specialist of Northwest IN, LLC.

Jacqueline Y. Gervais, MD
Dr. Jacqueline Gervais joined Chicago Family Health Center, specializing in OB/GYNE, in 2001. She has affiliations with Advocate Trinity Hospital, Methodist Hospitals of Northwest Indiana, and Michael Reese Hospital. Dr. Gervais is a graduate of University of Illinois, Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine.

Towanda Harris, MD
Dr. Towanda Harris joined Chicago Family Health Center in 2006. She is a graduate of Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School, where she received her medical degree in 2003. Dr. Harris completed a Family Medicine Residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL.

Christine Jaime, DDS
Dr. Christine Jaime has been part of the dental staff of Chicago Family Health Center for 15 years. She joined Chicago Family upon graduating from Northwestern University Dental School in 1991.

Kohar Jones, MD
Dr. Kohar Jones began her career as a Family Medicine Provider with Chicago Family Health Center in September 2008. Prior to coming to Chicago Family, Dr. Jones completed her Family Medicine Residency at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, RI. Dr. Jones received her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, CT.

Pramome Keshava, MD, MACP
Dr. Pramome Keshava joined Chicago Family Health Center in 1999. He specializes in internal and geriatric medicine. Prior to joining Chicago Family, Dr. Keshava provided healthcare in New York, the United Kingdom, and India. He is a graduate of Ranchi University in India, where he received his MD/Ph.D., and Ratna Medical College, where he received his MD.

Dae Ho Kim, DDS
Dr. Kim joined Chicago Family Health Center in August 2009 after completing his DDS at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry. He has a strong commitment to provide dental care to underserved patients. Dr. Kim’s clinical experience includes surgical and non-surgical extractions, basic restorative work, root canal therapies and pediatric work in VA Hines, the Spang HIV clinic, and the Rockford Crusader Community Clinic.

Veena Korah, MD, MPH
Dr. Veena Korah began her career with Chicago Family Health Center in October 2006. She graduated from Rush Medical College in June 2003, and completed her residency in family medicine at Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, IL in June 2006.

Laura Loesel, MD, MS, Site Medical Director
Laura Loesel, M.D., joined CFHC in September 2006 as the Site Medical Director. Prior to working at CFHC, Dr. Loesel provided care at HealthPartners Urgent Care Clinics in Minnesota. She is a graduate of McGill University, where she is also a founding member of the McGill Journal of Medicine.

Kelley McClure, DMD
Dr. Kelley McClure has been providing dental care at Chicago Family since 2005. She is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Mass. Dr. McClure completed her dental residency at Medical College of Ohio in Toledo.

Marjorie Michel, MD
Marjorie Michel joined the Obstetrics & Gynecology staff of Chicago Family Health Center in December 2007. In addition to her practice at Chicago Family, Dr. Michel serves as an instructor to medical students and residents. Dr. Michel completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Michel received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Tamaara Morris, DDS
After completing a dental externship at Chicago Family Health Center, Dr. Tamaara Morris was brought on board as a full-time dentist in 2006. She is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and a recipient of the National Health Service Corps Scholarship. Dr. Morris was active in the Give Kids a Smile Program at the University of Detroit, and was a co-coordinator for the Crest Healthy Smiles Program.

Chaitali Mukherjee, MD
Dr. Chaitali Mukherjee joined Chicago Family Health Center’s internal medicine team in October 2007. Prior to CFHC, Dr. Mukherjee worked as a medical officer at Federal Medical Center in Rochester, Minn. where she provided medical services to male offenders at the administrative facility. Dr. Mukherjee graduated from University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, IL, in May 2002. She completed an internship in internal medicine and pediatrics at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich. in June 2003, and competed her residency at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago in June 2006, where she also served as Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Program.

Nikie Parikh, MD
Dr. Nikie Parikh joined Chicago Family Health Center in August 2009. Dr. Parikh comes to Chicago Family after completing her residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital with a commitment to practice medicine in underserved communities. During her residency, Dr. Parikh was a volunteer Primary Care Provider for CommunityHealth, a volunteer-based free healthcare clinic on the west side of Chicago. Her clinical interests include taking care of patients with diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and obesity. Dr. Parikh is particularly interested in preventative medicine and would like to work with the patient, taking into account their social/economic situation as well as personal values in order to prevent disease complications. Dr. Parikh received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush University Medical Center in 2006 and completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital/ VA Hospital in June 2009.

Kina Peppers, MD
Dr. Peppers joined the OB/GYNE department at CFHC in 2006. Prior to joining CFHC, Dr. Peppers served as a field surgeon for the Illinois Army National Guard for the past 20 years. She is a graduate of the Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School.

Lisa K. Richardson, MD, MSPH
Lisa Richardson joined Chicago Family Health Center in August 2008 as a family medicine provider for our Roseland Center. Prior to joining Chicago Family, Dr. Richardson worked in Residency and as a Chief Resident at the West Suburban Family Medicine Clinic. Dr. Richardson graduated from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and received her Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Illinois.

Nina Vergari Rogers, MD
Dr. Rogers joined Chicago Family Health Center in September 2009. Dr. Rogers comes to Chicago Family after completing her residency in Family Medicine at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL. During her residency, Dr. Rogers was a volunteer Primary Care Provider for CommunityHealth, a volunteer-based free healthcare clinic on the west side of Chicago as well as a volunteer physician for pre-participation physical examinations for south suburban cook county high schools. Dr. Rogers’ clinical interests include behavioral health strategies and investigating motivations for behavioral change. Dr. Rogers received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 2006 and served as Chief Resident at MacNeal Hospital from 2008 to 2009.

Sarah-Anne Schumann, MD
Dr. Sarah-Anne Schumann recently returned to Chicago Family to continue her service in family medicine. She previously worked for CFHC from 2002 to 2006. Dr. Schumann is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and completed her residency at Boston Medical Center in 2002.

Ericka Searles, MD
Ericka Searles joined the staff of Chicago Family Health Center in 2007. Prior to coming to Chicago Family, Dr. Searles served as the Resident Investigator at the University of Illinois At Chicago as well serving as its Chief Resident in the department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Searles is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and received her M.D. from the Chicago Medical School.

Carl Toren, MD, MPH, Chief Medical Officer/Pediatric Physician
Dr. Toren joined the staff of Chicago Family Health Center as the Medical Director in 2001. In addition to his work at CFHC, Dr. Toren serves as part-time medical director for a shelter for abused and neglected children. Prior to assuming his position, he also served as the medical director for the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago for more than seven years. Dr. Toren spent three years as a staff physician and public health supervisor at Aira Hospital in western Ethiopia for the Reformed Church in America. He has received numerous honors and awards, serves on several professional committees and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Francis Tham, DDS, Dental Director
Francis Tham, D.D.S., Dental Director, has implemented and managed the CFHC oral health program for 22 years. He has been an integral part of the CFHC team, leading the expansion of the dental program to additional clinic locations. Prior to joining CFHC, Dr. Tham served as the dental director for University Medical Center in Berrien Springs, Mich., and as an associate for a private practice in Chicago. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Chicago College of Dentistry and a member of the Chicago Dental Society and Illinois State Dental Society.
