Head Start

CFHC works with the Chicago Head Start program to deliver services to nearly 30 Head Start sites. Our medical director is the physician consultant to the Chicago program, and we are a dental and primary care referral site for 13 Head Starts in our service areas.

CFHC also serves as the medical review facility for 14 additional Head Start sites on the south side of the city. A nurse and nurse practitioner visit these sites to ensure that all medical documentation is in place and to provide ongoing health and nutrition education to faculty, children and parents.
