August was Breastfeeding Awareness Month. Chicago Family Health Center held several events to honor its breastfeeding moms for all that they do for their babies.

Fight Like A Girl
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, CFHC patients and the community were treated to a free self-defense class, courtesy of Champion Tae Kwon Do held at our South Chicago site.
Founders’ Luncheon October 14, 2010
The first-annual Founders’ Luncheon recognized the hard work and commitment of Chicago Family Health Center and its board members who have been with the organization when it opened 34 years ago. Julie Hamos, Director, Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services was keynote speaker.
Chicago Lawn Christmas Celebration
The Greater Southwest Development Corporation brought holiday cheer to CFHC patients at the Chicago Lawn site as carolers visited the center to sang Christmas songs.
