Yes, we are Open

The Chicago Family Health Center building expansion project is moving forward and the clinic has undergone some drastic changes over the last several weeks. Walls are being built, support beams are being put in place and cement foundations are being poured. In addition, we have recently torn off the existing building's front brick. Although the building may look closed, Chicago Family Health Center would like everyone to know that:

We are open and providing healthcare to the community during this renovation. All the CFHC physicians, medical assistants, dentists and other medical staff are still serving their patients at the clinic at 9119 S. Exchange.

Over the next several weeks, new windows and new front brick will be put in place. When completed, the clinic will have new, separate patient and employee entrances. The new facility will have 30 new exam rooms, additional dental operatories, expanded lab, pharmacy space, and a separate area for mental health services. Other related programs such as developmental disabilities and maternal child health services will be moved into the new building, bringing all services under one roof.

The construction of the new building and renovation of the existing site is expected to be completed in mid-2007.
