Building The Future

Chicago Family Health Center has embraced a bold new vision to deliver the high-quality, comprehensive health care that the communities we serve have come to rely on. To accomplish this, we're putting a 30,000-square-foot addition on our existing facility at 9119 S. Exchange Ave.
When finished, the new building will have a total of 30 new exam rooms, additional dental operatories, expanded lab and pharmacy space, and a separate area for mental health services. Other programs, such as developmental disabilities and maternal/child health services, will be moved into the new building, bringing all services under one roof. The new building will provide the increased capacity needed to serve more than 5,000 new patients over the next five years.
This new Health Center facility represents a unique opportunity for community support. CFHC will look to the community for help in raising $1 million to complete funding for this project. Major financing is being provided by MB Financial Bank, as part of the MB Community Development Corporation, and the Illinois Facilities Fund (IFF).
The Center has long depended on the support of friends; that support is especially important during this critical time. With community support, CFHC will complete this expansion and continue fulfilling its mission to provide comprehensive, accessible primary health care of the whole person on the far south and southeast sides of Chicago.
This most important endeavor will benefit today's and tomorrow's community. We hope that you will join us in this effort to “Build the Future.”
